More Star Attraction Quilts!

I have two more versions of the Star Attraction Quilt to share with you!

The first is this clean, modern version using only Riley Blake Designs Confetti Cotton solid fabrics in a cool, retro color palette of Curry, Persimmon, Mediterranean, and Teddy Bear.

I bound the quilt in the Curry, but the binding would also look fabulous in the blue Mediterranean color - both options really tie the entire quilt design together.

I quilted this using an all over meandering design. It’s an easy design to quilt on a domestic machine and it adds tons of gorgeous texture.

LOVE these colors!

The second version is this crib/baby size scrappy quilt. When using a quilt pattern and scrap fabrics, you need to group the fabrics into color families. I used groups of Yellow, Pink, Aqua, and Purple. Grouping the fabrics in clear color families helps keep the design integrity while allowing for all the different prints that come with scrappy quilts.

I quilted this with giant daisies. Each block has its own daisy. I loved doing these. They are super easy and totally adorable.

The binding is a cute little Yellow dot. It’s a print I’ve had in my stash for years, and I loved it so much, I was pretty much hoarding the little remainder I had left.

I am a total sucker for scrappy quilts - especially when they are baby quilts. I love the charming homespun look the scrappy fabric creates. I’d love to see your version of the Star Attraction Quilt.
