Hat City Quilt Pattern is HERE!

Hello, friends! Today I'm trilled to be introducing my Hat City quilt pattern!

This pattern comes in 2 sizes:

Hat City Baby = 44” x 44”

Hat City Throw = 71” x 71” (see my Hat City throw size quilt HERE)

The Hat City quilt pattern is a versatile design - it can lean towards both modern and traditional aesthetics depending on the fabric choice.

For this Hat City baby version, I used a fun mix of fabrics from the Storytime 30's collection. The collection is filled with vintage feed sack reproduction prints, and they are pure eye candy! I love the small scale of the designs, the bright colors, and all of the sweet little characters.

The Hat City baby quilt measures approximately 44" x 44". I like my baby quilts to be on the larger side in order to carry through the toddler years, but you can easily take away one or both borders to make it smaller.

Here's a closer look at some of the "people" in Hat City. I used Riley Blake confetti cottons for the hats. Using solid fabric for the hats helps them to stand out and really "pop" against all of the busy little Storytime 30's prints.

I quilted on my domestic machine using my favorite echo petal design (visit my YouTube Channel to see how this is done.)

For the quilt back, I used Riley Blake Dapple Dot basics with a few Storytime 30's scraps on one end.

I knew I wanted to feature the sweet little ducks on the outer border, which meant I needed a binding that would help frame the ducks print and really help it shine. The purple fences was the perfect choice. I love how it brings it all together!

Storytime 30's is available now! Pick up yours today and pair it with Hat City for the perfect keepsake quilt.
